1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using FreeQuickNews (“the Service”), including our website, mobile applications, and API, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
FreeQuickNews is a news aggregation platform that collects publicly available news articles, analyzes them for political bias and sentiment, and presents them with transparency indicators. We do not produce original journalism. All articles link to their original sources.
3. User Accounts
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and API keys.
- You must not share your API key or subscription with others.
- We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms.
4. Free and Premium Tiers
Free Tier:
- Access to up to 10 articles per day.
- Source-level bias ratings.
- 100 API requests per day.
- Ad-supported experience.
Premium Tier ($4.99/month or $39.99/year):
- Unlimited article access.
- Full AI-generated summaries.
- Advanced bias and sentiment filters.
- Ad-free experience.
- 10,000 API requests per day.
- Social media post generation.
5. Subscriptions & Billing
- Premium subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
- Payment is charged to your Apple App Store, Google Play, or Stripe account.
- You can cancel your subscription at any time through your app store settings or account page.
- No refunds for partial billing periods, except as required by applicable law.
- We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers retain their current price until renewal.
6. API Usage
- API access is subject to rate limits based on your tier.
- You must not use the API to scrape, redistribute, or republish our bias ratings or sentiment data in bulk.
- API keys are non-transferable.
- We reserve the right to revoke API access for abuse or violation of these terms.
7. Intellectual Property
News articles displayed on FreeQuickNews are the intellectual property of their respective publishers. We display summaries and links under fair use principles. Our bias analysis, sentiment scoring, and platform design are proprietary to FreeQuickNews.
8. Disclaimer
Bias ratings are based on Media Bias/Fact Check data and are provided for informational purposes only. They do not constitute editorial endorsement or fact-checking of individual articles. Sentiment analysis is automated and may not always reflect the true tone of an article. The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, FreeQuickNews shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities.
10. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
11. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
